Beirut Explosion
- August 4th 2020 -
6:08pm marks the time all hell broke loose in Beirut.
An explosion like no other we’ve historically witnessed devastated the heart of the city: Our Port stands in decay for the first time since its inception in Phoenician times.
Home for Young, Old, Artists and Designers (etc.), the areas of Karantina, Gemmayze and Mar Mikhael - as well as others - have witnessed devastating losses; and the people and culture that once filled the streets with charm have lost everything: from restaurants and pubs, to homes, to limbs and for some; even their lives.
A cultural and Heritage hub, and a shelter for families in the thousands; let’s talk about Beirut.
Beirut needs your help!
